Digitizing paper sheet music with OCR
3 min read
One of ChoirVault's core planned features is an AI-powered OCR and notation engine that converts physical, paper sheet music into interactive, transposable digital assets — while preserving the integrity of the original composition.
Planned capabilities include instant transposition that preserves harmonic context (so a key change doesn't break the underlying harmony), automatic metadata tagging for composer, era, instrumentation, and key signature, and high-fidelity preservation of articulation marks and dynamics from the original score.
This is a planned feature rather than something live today, since ChoirVault is still pre-launch. Exact availability and rollout order at launch hasn't been finalized publicly — join the waitlist to be notified when it ships.
